Main characters in “I stand corrected”

I always try to picture the characters in the books I read and so I got some of them illustrated to help my readers put a face to the written words. I hope this helps :).



Rosario + waiter2

Rosario Domínguez: Rich and beautiful heiress, married to Javier and head of the Madrid branch of Fundación Esperanza. One of the narrators of “I stand corrected.”

Javior bkground

Javier Cantora: Young, charming and successful architect. He is married to Rosario Domínguez and of great interest to the media.


Balou: Another main character in “I STAND CORRECTED”.  A black British Shorthair cat with very strong and definite opinions on how the world should treat him. He kindly shares his particular point of view on events that occurred with us.

Rosario parents

Carmen and Miguel: Rosario´s parents and owners of one of the most important fortunes in Europe.


Concha and Ernesto: Javier´s parents and socialites.


Adela: Cook and Balou´s second favorite person in the whole world.


Juan: Chauffeur in the Cantora household and Balou´s bf.

CLEANING Couple together

Marylin and Marcos: Couple in charge of housekeeping and part of Balou´s inner circle of trust.


Author of I stand corrected, When I grow up... Bienvenidos a gatos anónimos, Pasarse cuatro Pueblos and Sesenta segundos dan para mucho, Patricia Asedegbega Nieto was born to a Spanish mother and a Nigerian father in Madrid. As a child, she relocated with her family to Nigeria and later returned to Spain, where she acquired her BSc and master´s degree. She is currently living near Madrid with her family and her very stubborn cat, Merlin Mojito.
